Nothing in this division diminishes, or otherwise affects, the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (Division 13 (commencing with Section 21000) of the Public Resources Code) or the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 U.S.C. Sec. 4321 et seq.).

This law section makes it clear that nothing within this division reduces or changes the requirements set by the California Environmental Quality Act or the National Environmental Policy Act. These acts still fully apply and must be followed.
