Section § 50170

Explanation

This section allows people who manage land on behalf of others, like guardians or executors, to sign petitions or bylaws and vote on land-related matters without needing extra permission from the court. Corporation landowners can also do this if their legal representatives agree.

Guardians, conservators, executors, administrators and other persons holding land in a trust capacity under appointment of court may sign petitions or bylaws or vote without obtaining special authority therefor. Corporation landowners may sign petitions or bylaws or vote by action of their legal representatives.
