Section § 26525

Explanation

A geologic hazard abatement district can be created to deal with various types of geological-related issues. This could include preventing or controlling geological hazards and addressing structural problems caused by these hazards.

A geologic hazard abatement district may be formed pursuant to this division for the following purposes:
(a)CA Public Resources Code § 26525(a) Prevention, mitigation, abatement, or control of a geologic hazard.
(b)CA Public Resources Code § 26525(b) Mitigation or abatement of structural hazards that are partly or wholly caused by geologic hazards.
