Section § 2341

Explanation

This law says that veterinarians are required to work under the guidance and oversight of the director, who may be a higher authority in their organization or industry.

The veterinarian shall act under the supervision of the director.

Section § 2342

Explanation

This law says that veterinarians are responsible for enforcing health and sanitation rules for livestock, poultry, and rabbits in the county. They must also make sure any rules or orders made by the county's board of supervisors regarding these animals are followed in unincorporated areas, which are regions not governed by their own local municipal corporation.

The veterinarian shall enforce throughout the county all of the provisions of this code which relate to the health and sanitary surroundings of livestock, poultry, and rabbits. He shall enforce within unincorporated territory all orders and ordinances of the board of supervisors which relate to such subjects.

Section § 2343

Explanation

This law allows a veterinarian to set up quarantine and health rules in their area if they think it's needed.

The veterinarian may establish such quarantine, sanitary, and other regulations within his jurisdiction as he deems necessary.

Section § 2344

Explanation
The veterinarian is required to go to meetings that the board of supervisors considers important and helpful.
The veterinarian shall attend such meetings as are deemed necessary and advisable by the board of supervisors.
