If, upon inspection, there is found any carcass or hide which does not bear the recorded brand of the person that presents the carcass or hide for inspection, such person shall show the inspector a bill of sale, certificate of inspection, or other proof of ownership of such carcass or hide.

If someone presents a carcass or hide for inspection and it doesn't have their recorded brand, they have to provide proof that they own it. This could be in the form of a bill of sale, a certificate of inspection, or some other form of ownership documentation.
