County election officials and their deputies are not allowed to distribute nomination papers. Also, those gathering signatures for these papers cannot collect them within 100 feet of an election booth or polling place.
A county elections official or his or her deputy may not circulate a nomination paper and circulators may not obtain signatures within 100 feet of any election booth or polling place.
