Section § 7600

Explanation

This law states that the Department of General Services will give the University of California full ownership of land next to its San Francisco Medical School campus. This land, where the Langley Porter Neuropsychiatric Institute is located, will be transferred at no cost. The purpose of this transfer is to incorporate the institute into the university's educational system.

The Department of General Services shall grant to the Regents of the University of California in fee simple all of its right, title and interest in the land adjacent to the campus of the University of California Medical School Center, San Francisco, at no cost to the regents, upon which the Langley Porter Neuropsychiatric Institute is located, for the purpose of integrating the institute into the total educational system of the University of California.
