Explanation

This law establishes the San Diego River Conservancy Fund, which is a pool of money set aside for projects related to the San Diego River. These funds can only be used for specific purposes outlined by this division and need official approval to be spent.

The San Diego River Conservancy Fund is hereby created. Moneys in the fund shall be available, upon appropriation, for the purposes of this division.

Section § 32658

Explanation

Money earned from leasing, renting, selling, or transferring land must go into a specific fund. The Legislature needs to approve how and when this money is spent, and it should be used for purposes related to this set of laws.

Proceeds or income from any lease, rental, sale, exchange, transfer of land, or interest in real property shall be deposited in the fund and shall be available for expenditure for the purposes of this division, upon appropriation by the Legislature.
