Section § 1350

Explanation

This law establishes a fund called the National World War II Veterans Memorial Trust Fund. The money in this fund comes from transfers as outlined in another specific tax law section. It is designated for the Controller to allocate to the American Battle Monuments Commission. The purpose is to support the construction and upkeep of the World War II Memorial mentioned in a 1999 statute.

There is hereby established the National World War II Veterans Memorial Trust Fund to receive those moneys transferred in accordance with Section 18702 of the Revenue and Taxation Code. The moneys in the trust fund are hereby appropriated to the Controller for allocation to the American Battle Monuments Commission for the construction and maintenance of the World War II Memorial described in Section 1 of Chapter 864 of the Statutes of 1999.
