Section § 2260

Explanation

Employers in California must follow specific rules about the cleanliness and maintenance of their facilities. These rules are set by a group called the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board, which creates guidelines to ensure workplace hygiene and safety starting from Section 140 of Chapter 6 in another code. This means that all places of work need to meet these established standards to protect employees' health.

All employers shall comply with standards relating to sanitary facilities adopted by the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board pursuant to Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 140) of Division 1.
