Section § 38065

Explanation

This law requires the Office of Administrative Hearings to create rules for conducting hearings by the end of 1983. These rules must cover several key areas: setting timelines for filing petitions, starting hearings, and making decisions; notifying everyone involved in the hearings; and holding the hearings in specific locations, specifically Los Angeles, Sacramento, or San Francisco. The Office can also include any other relevant topics they find necessary.

The Office of Administrative Hearings shall, by December 31, 1983, adopt regulations governing the hearings, which shall include all the following:
(a)CA Health and Safety Code § 38065(a)  Deadlines for filing petitions, commencing hearings and rendering decisions.
(b)CA Health and Safety Code § 38065(b)  Notice to affected parties.
(c)CA Health and Safety Code § 38065(c)  Hearings shall be conducted at the offices of the Office of Administrative Hearings in Los Angeles, Sacramento or San Francisco.
(d)CA Health and Safety Code § 38065(d)  Any other issues deemed appropriate by the Office of Administrative Hearings.
