If asbestos-containing materials are used in an air duct system which is installed in any building in the state on or after the effective date of this chapter, such material shall be overcoated with a sealant adequate to preclude erosion of asbestos fibers.

This law requires that any asbestos-containing materials used in air duct systems in buildings must be covered with a sealant to prevent asbestos fibers from spreading. This applies to systems installed after the law's effective date.
