Explanation

This law emphasizes that doctors with experience in treating addiction should have the freedom to use all suitable methods to help patients with addiction issues.

The Legislature hereby finds and declares that licensed physicians, experienced in the treatment of addiction, should be allowed and encouraged to treat addiction by all appropriate means.
