Section § 11920

Explanation

If you want to work as a pest control aircraft pilot in a county, you need to register with the county's agricultural commissioner before starting.

It is unlawful for any person to act as a pest control aircraft pilot in any county without first registering with the appropriate county agricultural commissioner.

Section § 11921

Explanation

If you're a pest control aircraft pilot in California, you need to register in person with the county's agricultural commissioner where you plan to work. If there's no commissioner, register with the director. For additional counties, you can register by mail or in person using specific forms from where you first registered.

Each pest control aircraft pilot shall register in person with the agricultural commissioner of the county where he intends to work or with the director if the county does not have an agricultural commissioner. Registration in any additional county may be made in person or by mail on prescribed forms which may be obtained and processed in the county where personal registration is made.

Section § 11922

Explanation

Pest control aircraft pilots must renew their registration every year.

Registration shall be renewed annually by all pest control aircraft pilots.

Section § 11923

Explanation

County boards can charge fees for pest control pilots to register, but they can't charge more than $10 per year if the pilot registers where they work. If the pilot is already registered in one place and wants to register in another county, the fee can't exceed $5 per year.

County boards of supervisors may set fees for registration to cover the cost of registering pest control aircraft pilots but in no case shall such fee total more than ten dollars ($10) per year for a pilot who registers in person in the county in which he intends to work, and five dollars ($5) per year for a pilot already registered in another county and who is now registering in an additional county as provided in Section 11921.

Section § 11924

Explanation

If you're a pilot registering to fly pest control aircraft, your registration can be denied or taken away for the same reasons that a pest control pilot certificate might be refused or revoked. This decision is made by the agricultural commissioner.

A pest control aircraft pilot registration may be refused, revoked, or suspended by the agricultural commissioner for the reasons indicated in Section 11910 for the refusal, revocation, or suspension of a pest control aircraft pilot certificate.
