Agricultural Pest Control AdvisersRegistration
Section § 12031
If you're an agricultural pest control adviser making recommendations, you need to register in person with the local agricultural commissioner where your office is located or with the state director if there's no commissioner. If you're based outside California, register in the county where you work. For additional counties, you can register by mail or in person, using specific forms available from either your home county or your work county.
Section § 12033
If you're working as an agricultural pest control adviser, you need to renew your registration every year.
Section § 12034
This law allows county boards to charge fees for registering pest control advisers. The fee can't be more than $10 a year for registering in the county where the adviser lives or works. If advisers want to register in an additional county, they can be charged up to $5 per year.
Section § 12035
This law allows the agricultural commissioner to refuse, revoke, or suspend a pest control adviser registration. The reasons for taking such actions are the same as those for dealing with pest control adviser licenses, as specified in a different section (Section 12023).
