The provisions of this division are severable. If any provision of this division or its application is held invalid, that invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
Chapter 8Miscellaneous Provisions
Section § 3801
This law means that each part of the division is independent. If one part is found invalid or cannot be applied, it won't impact the rest of the division. The other parts can still be used as long as they can function without the invalid part.
