Section § 32275

Explanation

This law requires that the partnership involved in the Interagency School Safety Demonstration Act of 1985 evaluates their programs and activities every year. They must assess how suitable and effective the statewide conferences are, how well the school safety cadre is helping schools and law enforcement, and how good the training on school safety and crisis response is.

The partnership shall annually assess the programs and activities under the Interagency School Safety Demonstration Act of 1985. The assessment shall include, but not be limited to, all of the following:
(a)CA Education Code § 32275(a) An assessment of the appropriateness and effectiveness of the statewide conferences conducted pursuant to Article 2 (commencing with Section 32265).
(b)CA Education Code § 32275(b) An assessment of the extent to which the statewide school safety cadre has been able to provide appropriate technical assistance to school districts, county offices of education, and law enforcement agencies.
(c)CA Education Code § 32275(c) An assessment of the effectiveness of the ongoing training on safe schools and crisis response provided pursuant to subdivision (c) of Section 32270.
