Repeals
Section § 100000
This law states that a range of older legal sections, spanning various years, have been officially repealed. However, if a corporation was formed before January 1, 1873, and hasn't opted to operate under a newly adopted Civil Code, the old rules still apply to it, regardless of the repeal.
Section § 100001
This section lists specific sections from various General Laws, Civil Code, Penal Code, and Political Code that have been officially repealed. In essence, it details which laws are no longer in effect and therefore not applicable going forward. This includes numerous individual sections that cover a wide range of topics within these codes, but the text does not specify the content of each repealed section. It simply serves to inform that these sections are no longer valid.
