(a)CA Kalusugan at Kaligtasan Code § 1799.200(a)
TL_The_State_Department_of_Health_Services_shall_contract_with_an_organization_with_expertise_in_program_evaluation,_pediatric_emergency_medical_services,_and_critical_care,_for_the_purposes_specified_in_subdivision (b).
(b)CA Kalusugan at Kaligtasan Code § 1799.200(b)
TL_The_contractor,_in_consultation_with_a_professional_pediatric_association,_a_professional_emergency_physicians_association,_a_professional_emergency_medical_services_medical_directors_association,_the_Emergency_Medical_Services_Authority,_and_the_State_Department_of_Health_Services,_shall_perform_a_study_that_will_identify_the_outcome_criteria_which_can_be_used_to_evaluate_pediatric_critical_care_systems._This_study_shall_include,_but_not_be_limited_to,_all_of_the_following:
(1)CA Kalusugan at Kaligtasan Code § 1799.200(b)(1)
TL_Development_of_criteria_to_identify_how_changes_in_pediatric_critical_care_systems_affect_the_treatment_of_critically_ill_and_injured_children.
(2)CA Kalusugan at Kaligtasan Code § 1799.200(b)(2)
TL_Development_of_criteria_to_compare_the_systems_in_place_in_various_areas_of_the_state.
(3)CA Kalusugan at Kaligtasan Code § 1799.200(b)(3)
TL_Determination_of_whether_the_necessary_data_is_currently_available.
(4)CA Kalusugan at Kaligtasan Code § 1799.200(b)(4)
TL_Estimate_of_the_cost_to_providers,_such_as_emergency_medical_service_agencies_and_hospitals,_of_collecting_this_data.
(5)CA Kalusugan at Kaligtasan Code § 1799.200(b)(5)
TL_Recommendations_concerning_the_most_reliable_and_cost-effective_monitoring_plan_for_use_by_agencies_and_facilities_at_the_state,_regional,_and_local_levels.
