Section § 18111
The school district's governing board has the authority to remove any books, publications, or papers that promote a specific religion, political party, or religious group from schools and school libraries.
The governing board of any school district may exclude from schools and school libraries all books, publications, or papers of a sectarian, partisan, or denominational character.
