Section § 466

Explanation

This section defines some key terms used in the chapter. 'Dispute resolution' refers to methods like mediation, conciliation, and arbitration. A 'Program' is any organization that offers dispute resolution services. The 'Advisory Council' refers to the Dispute Resolution Advisory Council.

As used in this chapter:
(a)CA Business & Professions Code § 466(a) “Dispute resolution” includes, but is not limited to, mediation, conciliation, and arbitration.
(b)CA Business & Professions Code § 466(b) “Program” means an entity that provides dispute resolution.
(c)CA Business & Professions Code § 466(c) “Advisory Council” means the Dispute Resolution Advisory Council.
